Run by local parents, we offer support, information and friendship to new parents and parents-to-be. We have outlined below the main benefits and services your local NCT branch can currently offer you from antenatal classes to nearly new sales.

Antenatal classes                                                                    

We run antenatal classes for expectant parents. Our classes are an excellent way to prepare for the new arrival and make new and lasting friendships. 

Courses are open to members and non-members alike, but as places are at a premium we suggest you book as early in your pregnancy as possible.

Nearly New Sales

The Tring & District Nearly New Sale provides an opportunity for local people to pick up fantastic bargains on toys, books, clothes, and much more for children from birth to seven years, plus maternity clothing and nursery equipment.

The sales are usually held bi-annually in March and November at Tring School, Mortimer Hill, Tring, HP23 5JD. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the organisation of the sales, so if you are interested and can give us a small amount of your time to ensure that the sales keep running, please e-mail us at tringnct@googlemail.com or call 08442 436 301 (Option 2).

Bumps & babes

As a way of meeting and keeping in touch with other new parents, Tring NCT host pop-in style informal get-togethers over a coffee and croissant every month.

Postnatal support        

We provide postnatal support, for example  through coffee groups, whether you have been to our antenatal classes or not. For more information

NCT membership benefits   

As an NCT member, you will receive the NCT magazine, plus regular newsletters from your local branch. Members also get early entry to our very popular nearly new sales, giving you the opportunity to grab bargains first.
