Breastfeeding Counsellors

The branch breastfeeding counsellor is Maura Clark and you can contact her on 01276 461287.  Please use this number only for breastfeeding calls. 

The NCT Breastfeeding line number is 0870 448708 (open 8am to 10pm seven days a week).  Calls are charged at the UK national rate.  The service automatically routes the caller to an available breastfeeding counsellor.

Breastfeeding Peer Support Group

Thanks to a generous grant from the Awards for All (Big Lottery) a Breastfeeding Peer Support Project has just been started with local NCT and Children's Centres in Bagshot and Camberley. We initially plan to train three cohorts of peer supporters who will then volunteer at a variety of breastfeeding drop-ins at the centres. Drop Ins

Frimley Park Hospital has a breastfeeding drop in clinic every Monday and Thursday between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.  The clinic is held adjacent to Maternity A and B wards.

St Peters Hospital in Chertsey has a drop in clinic every Wednesday from 12:30pm to 2:00pm.  The clinic is held in the Parent Education room in the Abbey wing.  The number for more information is 01932 722678

The Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading has a drop in daily from 10:30am to 1:00pm in the AN suite.

Woking Community Hospital, Heathside Road, Woking has a breastfeeding suppot drop in from 10:00am to 12:00 noon on a Thursday.  Please contact Wendy Deshpande (HV) on 01932 340411 ex816 for more information.
