- NCT response to Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has announced it will be terminating its contract with the Albany Midwifery Practice on safety grounds. The practice has until recently provided a home birth service, antenatal and postnatal appointments and continuity of midwifery care should a woman choose to request an Albany Practice midwife present at the birth of her baby in Kings College Hospital.
